There has been phenomenal uptake of wireless and mobile networking technologies in the past decades. Significant developments have taken place during this time making the wireless technology more affordable, effective, and reliable. This book explains the fundamental principles and protocols of key existing and emerging wireless networking technologies. Mahbub Hassan is Full Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, where he heads the Networked Systems and Security research group. He has worked as Visiting Scholar and Professor at Washington University in Saint Louis, Osaka University, and University of Nantes. During 2013-2016, he served as Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE giving lectures on emerging wireless communications technologies to a wide range of audiences throughout the world.
