About the Authors
DAN BRITTON is a speaker, writer, coach, and trainer whose mission is to help people pursue their passion. After thirty-four years serving with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and spearheading the ministry’s global expansion from one country to over one hundred, he founded SportsLife Leadership, which combines his three passions: Jesus, sports, and leadership. He is a frequent speaker for companies, nonprofits, sports teams, schools, and churches. Dan has also appeared on national outlets, such as Fox News, CBS News, and Fast Company. He has authored ten books: One Word, One Word for Kids, One Word Journal, Life Word, Wisdom Walks, The Wisdom Challenge, True Competitor, Called to Greatness, Daily Wisdom for Men, and 100 Days of Strength for Leaders. Dan played professional lacrosse with the Baltimore Thunder, earning a spot on the All-Star team, and he was nominated by his teammates for both the Service and Unsung Hero awards. He still plays and coaches lacrosse, and he enjoys running marathons. He finished the Boston Marathon twice. RON FORSETH is a business strategist, writer, marketer, mentor, and ultra-distance walker. His mission in life is to acquire, apply, and multiply abundant wisdom to make for a better eternity for himself, for his family, and for millions of others. Ron has lived in Mexico, China, Hong Kong, Mongolia and the U.S. Ron has a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in English from Colorado State and done graduate work at Seattle Pacific, UT Arlington, and University of Oregon. For over 10 years Ron served as Vice President for Business Development for Outreach, Inc. and was GM of Outreach Media Group and Outreach Web Properties. He is Founding Executive Editor of ChurchLeaders.com and long-time General Manager of SermonCentral.com, the world's largest online community of pastors. Ron has served as Lead Ambassador for Westfall Gold. He is President/CEO of the business strategy firm Forseth Development, Inc. and founder of The Wisdom Society. Ron and his wife Carol reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado and have two adult children, Rachel and Randy.
