Interior pages age toned. Binding strong and tight. A non-fiction book about racial issues. Rev. Griggs was the author of a number of books and is best known for the five novels he wrote and self-published between 1899 and 1908. Scarce. Currently the only first edition available. Sutton Elbert Griggs was an African-American author, Baptist minister, and social activist.
