From the bestselling author of The Flower That Went Mad comes a hauntingly tender new collection of poetry exploring the heartbreak that lingers long after love is gone.
I Wish You Never Left is a raw, unfiltered journey through loss—the kind of pain that keeps you up at 3 a.m., scrolling through old messages, hoping they’ll say something different this time. It’s about missing someone so much that their absence starts to feel like a second skin. It's about waking up and checking your phone out of habit, only to remember, again, that they’re not coming back.
These pages bleed. They ache. They remember.
This book is for anyone who’s ever loved so deeply it nearly destroyed them. For those who gave everything, only to be left behind. For those still picking up the pieces, still hoping for one more text, one more chance, one more “I miss you” whispered into the void.
You might think no one understands what you're going through—but these words do. They sit with you in the silence. They cry with you. They let you feel every wave of sorrow, and they don’t ask you to be okay before you're ready.
There is no silver lining here—only truth. And maybe, just maybe, that’s enough to get through another night.

About the Author
Yogesh Chandra is a confessional poet based in Fiji whose words have become a lifeline—for himself and for others who carry pain in silence. He began writing as a way to survive the darkness—when therapy wasn't accessible, poetry became the only place he could truly be honest.
His work explores the rawest corners of the human experience: heartbreak, depression, grief, longing, and suicidal thoughts. Every poem is a fragment of a past he never asked for, but one that continues to shape him. He writes not for recognition, but to remind those who are struggling that they are not alone.

— from I Wish You Never Left
Yogesh draws inspiration from emotional chaos—especially the kind that leaves no visible scars. When he's not writing, he finds solace in nature and spends quiet time capturing landscapes through his camera lens.
His poetry doesn't promise healing—but it offers honesty. And sometimes, that's enough to make it through the night.
