Maggie Shayne and Lorna Tedder's Witch Moon Rising, Witch Moon Waning comes full circle!
First published in 2001, this hard-to-find book is back in trade paperback, this time with a bonus of over 40 spells, rituals, and charms for prosperity, weight loss, rejuvenation, and protection--all from Maggie and Lorna's personal stash of magick.
In Witch Moon Rising, Maggie Shayne invokes a new love for Mirabella, a school teacher who's also a practicing witch. But her efforts to help his teenage daughter spell trouble--the kind that gets her fired and involved in murder and mayhem. In Witch Moon Waning, Lorna Tedder conjures a darker look at magick and its intentional misuse by a novice witch, her High Priestess mother, and a time-traveler with a secret agenda. More than anything, Lydia wishes her lover could understand her, and eventually she performs a Full Moon ritual to make him understand her strange visions. As they say, Be careful what you wish for....
Witch Moon Waning is the prequel to Lorna Tedder's Access.
Maggie Shayne Maggie is probably most famous for her Vampire stories for Silhouette Shadows and Mira Books. She is steadily gaining recognition for her Immortal High Witch novels for Berkley, including Eternity, Infinity, and Destiny.
In spite of Maggie's skyrocketing success in commercial fiction, her short novel, Witch Moon Rising, was too different for major New York City publishers. She and past life sister, Lorna Tedder, joined forces to bring this story to print.
Maggie lives in a quiet town south of Syracuse NY on a 200 acre farm. She is a Third Degree High Priestess and a founder of the RavenMist Tradition.
Lorna Tedder A former Southern Baptist, Lorna holds a doctorate in metaphysics and is a Third Degree High Priestess of Wicca. She has written novels and non-fiction for three major publishing houses and one small press.
