The Witness & The Script: Selfhood, Narrative Science, and Creative Authority in the Age of AI

What if the greatest crisis of our time is not political, technological, or economic—but the loss of the self?

In The Witness and the Script, Caleb Anthony Farmer offers a bold and original framework for understanding identity, society, and human creativity in the Age of AI.

Modern life scripts us before we know it. Institutions assign roles. Algorithms shape attention. Platforms predict behavior. Cultures define worth. Yet beneath every script remains something deeper: the witness—the irreducible center of personhood capable of recognizing distortion, recovering truth, and reclaiming authorship.

Blending sociology, psychology, theology, and technological critique, Farmer introduces powerful concepts such as:

• The Witness-Center
• Scriptual Life Theory
• Dis-Authorship
• Narrative Science
• Prophetic Recognition
• Proleptic Awareness
• Human Creativity in the AI Era

This book is for readers who sense that modern systems explain everything except what matters most.

For seekers, thinkers, creators, believers, and anyone refusing reduction, The Witness and the Script provides language for what you knew but could not yet name.

You are deeper than the script.
