The Wizard: Prodigy

The Wizard: Prodigy

In a world where magic is defined by ancient traditions, one student is about to prove that there's far more lying beneath the surface than initially understood.

At the prestigious academy, magic is simple: the bigger the stone, the stronger the caster. Masters preach tradition, and noble students flaunt their raw, unyielding power. For Kaleb, a peasant’s son plucked from obscurity, fitting into this rigid world of noble aspiring wizards is a daily battle.

He wasn't supposed to unlock his spark. He certainly wasn't supposed to be accepted into the academy but while others focus on hurling boulders, Kaleb looks at magic through a different lens—one of velocity, force vectors, and kinetic energy. Through painstaking, secret experiments, he discovers the underlying truths about motion and energy that his masters fail to comprehend or even consider.

When rising tensions inside the academy threaten everything he’s worked for, Kaleb's revolutionary control over magic marks him as a peculiarity to some and a dangerous anomaly to others. As a powerful movement begins to gather strength, he must master his understanding quickly if he hopes to overcome his coming trials because when the academy's ancient methods fail, Kaleb won't just be competing against his peers, he’ll need to use all his self-taught knowledge if he's to survive what's coming.
