The Wizard's Way

“An adrenaline-pumping adventure… whimsical magic, fearsome beasts, and an adorable animal companion.” — BookLife

Magic runs in her blood. She just doesn’t know it yet.

When twelve-year-old Katie’s grandfather vanishes, she must unlock powers she never knew she had to save her family—and herself.

Katie has always been the “strange” one—the kid who doesn’t quite belong, who asks too many questions, who secretly fears she caused her parents’ divorce. But when she and her younger sister, Jenny, discover a hidden portal to the magical world of O’Mirra, Katie is thrust into a dangerous journey far beyond her imagination.

In a land of twisted creatures, dark magic, and a bitter, broken sorcerer, Katie must find the courage to rescue her grandfather before it’s too late. Armed with only a few uncertain spells, a rescued wolf pup named Spunky, and the help of a young wizard named Aiden, she begins to uncover a powerful truth:

Her greatest strength may not be magic at all.

A thrilling, heartfelt middle-grade fantasy about courage, sisterhood, belonging, and the power of believing in yourself—perfect for fans of Amari and the Night Brothers, Nevermoor, and Keeper of the Lost Cities.

Book One in the Adventures in O’Mirra series.
Includes a Magic Spell Guide and Core Wizard Powers Reference.
