It provides complete study support by combining the qualities of a detailed textbook with features more commonly found in a revision guide. // Highly illustrated examples of films taught for Paper 1 and Paper 2 help to reinforce understanding of the micro and macro elements of film language. // Key terms are clearly defined throughout and in a glossary. // Quickfire questions check students' understanding as they progress. // Classroom activities help reinforce key points of learning. // Detailed guidance is provided on the film exploration and production required for the Controlled Assessment. // Revision chapters focus students on preparing for Papers 1 and 2 with student examples and commentaries and plenty of advice on the appropriate use of theory and key terminology. // Exam tips throughout help students improve their exam technique. // The whole book offers an effective model for teaching the course in an integrated way.
