The Wolf of God: The Codex (LUPUS POTESTATIS)

The war has been continuous for six centuries. You have been living inside it. PALIMPSEST is the recovered archive — a manuscript discovered in the Collar Meridian Vault in the Year of the Keening, restored by the Archivist-Claw designation SABLE, and released against every protocol the Institution has spent six hundred years enforcing. It documents the war between two forces whose names you do not know and whose battlefield is the world you think you understand. The Institution builds walls. Walls of doctrine, law, managed information, and grief redirected into political categories. It does not require villains. It requires the correct environment, applied to people whose professional instincts will do the rest. The Covenant builds correspondence — the active relationship between what is true and the people willing to hold it. Between them: every catastrophe the ordinary world was told was an accident. STRATUM. Three men booked on the same vessel. A cancelled reservation. A course adjustment. 1,517 dead and three operational targets removed. The Archive set back. The Covenant driven deeper. The suppression that multiplies what it suppresses. LACUNA. The name is correct. The name is not the full text. One man with a rifle, in a position he reached by ordinary means, acting on a conviction cultivated by a managed environment he could not see. The Warren Commission working in a room shaped before they arrived. The correspondence — fourteen documents — still in the building. Still there. The war continues. The strata accumulate. The ground holds everything it has been given. PALIMPSEST is a companion series embedded within the LUPUS POTESTATIS Dark Sacred Series — a history of the war, told one layer at a time, across each codex in the Scripture Arc. This volume contains Parts I and II. The record continues. MORS NON IMPERABIT.
