These four issues - - all measuring 5.125 x 7.75 inches - - are four separate issues put out by the Social Culture Publications of New York - - all with copyright dates of 1922 but no further identification, although they all appear identical in format, condition, and appear to us as from the 1920?s or 1930?s at the latest. The four issues are all housed in identical dark green paper wrappers with gilt design - - with the words ?The Womans Library Inc? - - and then gilt subtitles on the front wrapper. The wrappers are in at least very good condition with little cover wear and with only a touch of age browning and with little handling wear showing. The four titles are The Book of Culture by Harriet Lane - - Sex Avoided Subjects Discussed in Plain English by Henry Stanton - - How to Prepare and Serve a Meal by Lillian Lansdown - - Color Harmony and Design in Dress by Millicent Melrose. Each issue contains about 62 pages divided into chapters covering the different subjects.
