Duodecimo. Army green cloth covered boards and spine with shiny gilt lettering and ornament on the spine and front board. Light bumping at the head and tail of the spine and a fair amount of bumping at the tips of the four outside corners with plenty of accompanying rubbing in each of these places. Light rubbing in some places around the outside edges and along the outside edges of the spine. Boards do not bend, but are about the same thickness as the flexible boards one sometimes sees. White endpapers have darkened over time. Front hinge is split but not separated and binding is still straight and tight. Pages have darkened slightly, but are still clean and crisp. Top edge gilt. 444 pages. Includes portraits of each letter writer. Uncommon. No dust jacket.

Shipping terms
Shipping rates are based on the average book weight of 2 pounds. Purchase of large and/or heavy books may involve a request for increased shipping based on the actual cost. We will never send you a request for additional shipping that exceeds the actual cost of shipping your book. All outbound shipping is directed to the United States Postal Service, and all parcels are trackable. Although the tracking numbers are used internally, we're happy to provide them to any of our clients upon request. Our store is closed on Sunday and Monday. Orders placed on Sunday or Monday will be filled either Monday or Tuesday (no later than Tuesday) depending upon internal activity.
