Women in Science Coloring and Activity Book : For Women in Biology, Women in Chemistry, and Women in Physics

Give kids hours of entertainment with the Women in Science Coloring and Activity Book!

The Science Wide Open series of educational picture books, written by Mary Wissinger and illustrated by Danielle Pioli, encourages kids to ask questions about the world around them. Readers learn basic science concepts through the stories of inspiring women who helped change the world with their discoveries. This coloring book is a companion to the first three titles in the series: Women in Biology, Women in Chemistry, and Women in Physics.

While reading the books, encourage kids to break out the art supplies and get creative coloring the illustrations of scientists and their experiments. Simple prompts promote curiosity along the way, including activities like brainstorming your own hypothesis, labeling equipment used in a laboratory, and a game of “spot the difference.”

To keep the fun going, check out the More Women in Science Coloring and Activity Book accompanying the next three books in the series, Women in Engineering, Women in Medicine, and Women in Botany.
