Full color illustration on the front cover depicting a space ship departing a planet consumed by an electron flame (illustrating the story by Jack Williamson). 96pp. With a few black and white illustrations in the interior. A single issue of this magazine devoted to science fiction tales, featuring work by Jack Williamson, 'The Electron Flame,' Nathan Schacner 'Emissaries of Space,' and others. Edited by Hugo Gernsback, an influential figure in the genre of science fiction, who helped to develop and promote the genre. GOOD condition. Magazine curled along the spine, with several creases present to the covers. Minor soiling, scuffing and fading, heavier to the rear cover. Slight chipping to the head and foot of the spine. Light foxing to the inside covers. Text block browned.
