The Do Something Wonderful Protocol (DSW) is a proven methodology to help individuals gain greater confidence and personal happiness while reducing the number of negative thoughts they may have. The DSW Protocol was developed after seeing my father suffer from a series of unfortunate events, ultimately leading to a suicide attempt. I saw this same pattern emerge in my own life and decided to investigate, document, and practice the DSW Protocol. This book is a small glimpse into my everyday life. In my 100-day journey, I’ve outlined many activities so you can learn from my experiences, struggles, and successes. I realize that my circumstances will not be your circumstances. Every living situation is different. You will need to adjust your activities within this program to ones that are meaningful to you and fit within your budget and time allowances.
As an added highlight of the Do Something Wonderful Protocol, we’ve included over 140 illustrations to help illuminate our message. I have also included four chapters demonstrating how the DSW Protocol can be applied to Business, Parenting, Schools, and Communities. Each chapter outlines specific ways you can apply the DSW to your area of interest, along with examples.
The Bonus Section outlines 122 activities with which you can begin your journey by focusing on others, including 101 free activities as well as low-cost activities. In addition, there are 101 activities designed just for you to allow you to take a break and enjoy life!
