In September of 2003, Naima was employed as a middle school teacher at Commerce Middle School in Yonkers, NY. In September of 2004, Naima was employed by White Plains Public Schools as a Business Educator at White Plains High School. Naima is a woman of God and truly believes that God placed her at Peekskill for such a time as this. She loves her students and staff members as family and always expects excellence from both. She lives by the motto: "To whom much is given, much is required" and being a "Servant Leader". Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, "Not everybody can be famous. But everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve...You only need a heart full of grace and a soul generated by love."
