The Wonders of the Colorado Desert (Southern California) - Its Rivers and its Mountains, its Canyons and its Springs, its Life and its History, Pictured and Described Including an Account of Recent Journey Made Down the Overflow of the Colorado River to the Mysterious Salton Sea

Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact (dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text. A good condition book. An ex-library rebind into navy half-leather with the usual amount of stamps. No dust jacket. Heavy wear to the covers, mainly to the leather sections. A tear to the top of the spine. The textblock is well-handled and shows signs of toning, dust and general thumbing, but does remain unfaded and perfectly legible with a fine page binding. A good reading and reference copy of a scarce book. With upwards of three hundred pen and ink sketches from nature by Carl Eytel.
