The Woods Remember: The Line Between Man and Monster

Some inherit land. Eli Wayman inherited a nightmare.
When twenty-six-year-old Eli Wayman is named the sole heir to his estranged grandfather’s isolated cabin deep in the Appalachian wilderness, he’s thrust into a legacy buried under moss, rot, and blood. The locals remember Walter Wayman as a recluse—but Walter’s journal speaks of something much darker: towering shadows in the trees, silence where birds should sing, and a creature that comes closer with each nightfall.
As Eli uncovers the truth, the past unravels into a terror more ancient than folklore. When tragedy strikes and authorities refuse to believe him, Eli must rely on a rough map, a loaded rifle, and his own unraveling sanity to survive.
But some monsters don’t just haunt the woods—they live in bloodlines.
Fans of folk horror, backwoods thrillers, and creature features will find The Woods Remember an unforgettable descent into grief, madness, and primal fear.
