The Bible is God's love letter, written to draw us into his life and his plan for our salvation. Theologian Jeffrey L. Morrow offers a clear, engaging, and faithful introduction to Sacred Scripture for Catholics hoping to understand the Bible more confidently and prayerfully.

Drawing from the Church's teaching, the wisdom of the Fathers, and the best of contemporary scholarship, Morrow guides readers through:What biblical inspiration really means— and why Scripture is wholly true, trustworthy, and divinely authored. How to interpret the Bible "from the heart of the Church," through the literal and spiritual senses. How archaeology and history powerfully support Scripture's remarkable reliability.A tour of each major section of the Bible, illuminating its themes, contexts, and place within salvation history.

More than an overview, this book invites readers to encounter the living God in the pages of the Bible— to understand not only what Scripture says, but why it was written: ". . . that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work" (2 Tm 3:17).
