Words In Concert is an anthology of poems inspired by classical music. It contains 48 poems by 35 wonderful poets, including three Texas Poets Laureate and many other highly-acclaimed, award-winning poets from the U.S. and internationally. All profits from the sale of this anthology will benefit the musicians of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra.

The Fort Worth Poetry Society is the author/publisher of this anthology of poems inspired by classical music. FWPS is the oldest continuous literary society west of the Mississippi, having been active since its founding in 1910. FWPS encourages the writing and enjoyment of poetry by everyone through providing public poetry readings and programs, publishing poetry such as Words In Concert, and sponsoring poetry contests such as its annual William D. Barney Chapbook Contest.
