Words Will Get You Caught

Conversation rules the nation. But comprehension keeps your house.
If words can build a world, they can also lease your future—cheap. Words Will Get You Caught is a field guide for anyone who’s ever been charmed into a bad choice, pressured by a pulpit, or hustled by a headline. George Barnes (God’s Vision Legacy Empire™) takes you past catchy phrases into fruit, boundaries, and quiet authority you can live on Tuesday.

Rooted in a reverent Ethiopic/LXX posture toward Scripture, this book blends street-level clarity with biblical insight (see Absalom at the gate, 2 Samuel 15). You’ll learn how to weigh spirits, not slogans; how to follow lives, not lips; and how to bless only what your life can carry.

Inside you’ll learn to:

• Run the Pause Protocol — 72-Hour Word Test so urgency stops punishing your peace.

• Use the Absalom Mirror to spot gate games, excess access, and copy-paste flattery.

• Set Gate Permissions (Ear • Mouth • Heart) so volume is earned—and revocable.

• Apply the Fruit Test (outcomes over optics): Tuesdays over trailers.

• Break soft covenants with Renunciation Templates and exit with honor.

• Replace old labels with 10-word Narrative Rewrites you can actually sustain.

• Install the Speaking-Life Rulebook: no sentence without structure; no yes without receipts.

What you get (tools that ship):

• Pause Protocol worksheet, Fruit Test, Gate Permissions, and Agreement Audit.

• Renunciation Templates + Narrative Rewrite sheets (filled examples + blanks).

• Comprehension Covenant to sign & keep; Scripture Page (Ethiopic/LXX aligned).

• Therapist Notes for moral injury, compassion fatigue, and nervous-system safety.

Who this is for:
Builders, believers, and boundary-setters who are done with hype and ready for receipts—creatives, leaders, and everyday gatekeepers who want peace that shows up on paper.

Why it works:
Because truth welcomes daylight—Scripture, counsel, and time. When you slow the room, specify the terms, and follow the fruit, manipulation loses its mask. You’ll stop renting your future to sentences and start governing your house with wisdom.

Canon line: My yes lives on the far side of paper, peace, and pastors.
