Sally M. Reis, Ph.D. is a Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Connecticut where she also serves as a Principal Investigator for the National Research Center on the Gifted and Talented. She was a public school teacher for 15 years and became interested in talented females as she watched many of her students fail to realize their potential. She has conducted dozens of studies about talented girls and women. She is an award-winning teacher and has written over 100 articles and seven books.
