From Work to Vocation

What makes work meaningful? Often, work feels disconnected from the real purpose of your life. It's hard to feel as though your career is a real part of your life's purpose. At work, you're left feeling as though you're not living as your real self.

It's easy to look for quick answers to these problems. You can distract yourself from these issues for long enough to get through the day. But how can you find better answers? How can you make work a partner to fulfillment in life?

In From Work to Vocation, these answers are taken from the long history of philosophy. Using methods from ancient and modern thinkers, new light is cast on these problems. These ideas are made accessible and applicable to everyday working life. Through reflection, you can understand what makes work into a complete and fulfilling vocation.
