Item description from seller

*HARDBACK, no edition stated, in good to almost very good condition. It's the romantic story of a young American who traveled fifty thousand miles by land and sea, interviewed crowned heads and other notabilites, and returned home with both money and experience, having literally worke dhis way around the world. Frontispiece with tissue. The first three pages (including the frontis and title page) are pulling loose at the hinge edge. The hinges are slightly cracked at front and back boards. Slight foxing and soiling to the page edges and end papers. Illustrated. Decorative stamped red boards with globe appearance with maps and the sun rising, have minor shelf wear, with the spine being very slightly cocked. Very slightly faded on the spine and has a 2 1/2" faded line on the front. All in all, a very nice, solid book.
