Unpaginated. Illustrated with frontis plate (Glossary of Technical Terms), numerous woodcuts and diagrams & designs. One vol. only of (2?). The second vol. was probably a volume of plates and this is lacking. Undated, but circa 1870 (?). Covers stained and spine ends lightly split. Else good. Rare item with numerous essays on a variety of engineering subjects including agricultural engineering, gasworks in breweries and mills, critical view of the Great Exhibition etc. etc.
