About the Author:
Rena Shimoni had retired from her position as the Dean of the Office of Applied Research and Innovation at Bow Valley College. Rena holds a M.Sc. in Applied Social Studies from Oxford University and a doctorate in Educational Policy and Administration from the University of Calgary.
Joanne Baxter is the coordinator of the Bachelor of Applied Child Studies Degree Program at Mount Royal University. Over the last few years, she has worked with a colleague to develop a series of three websites focusing on children with challenging behaviour. Joanne is currently part of a team awarded a grant from the Alberta Ministry of Human Services to develop a curriculum for early learning across the province.
