Working from Home: Everything You Need to Know about Living & Working under the Same Roof

Used very good

The authors, business writers (e.g, Finding Your Perfect Work, Tarcher, 1998) and popular hosts of a radio and a TV show, revise and expand this fifth edition of a super resource that responds to the rapidly increasing work-at-home population, estimated at over seven and a half million. Now tightly integrated with Internet resources, the book covers many highly useful topics, including choosing at-home work as a way of life, outfitting and equipping a home office, managing an office and oneself while working at home, and how to price a product or service and sell the home business. The section on legal advice regarding taxes, insurance, liability, and permits is alone worth the purchase for anyone considering or already involved in making a living from home. With increasing access to information via the Internet and rapidly evolving electronic commerce, more people are taking the plunge and leaving the nine-to-five routine. A definite purchase for all libraries, especially public libraries.ADale F. Farris, Groves, TX
