About the Author
Nathan Ory has been a registered psychologist for nearly 30 years. He has worked in Victoria, British Columbia, since 1978 with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He specializes in autism spectrum disorders, fetal alcohol syndrome, extremely challenging behavior, and persons who are dually diagnosed with one of these conditions and a mental health disorder. In addition to his work with the Island Mental Health Support Team in Victoria, he speaks throughout the United States and Canada about these issues. He holds a master s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University, and a bachelor s degree in psychology from Georgia State University.
