This is a sequel to Forest City to Ascension and They Became Game Wardens.

The sly fox from Forest City, Game Warden Lloyd Bonney, becomes the Chief Game Warden. And after the Tomah Stream moose case, he is determined to find a way to bring Gary Newman and Galen Merrill into the warden service. During his brief training while on his nighttime five-mile hike alone, Galen Merrill is the only warden in the history of warden service who has had enough of the pig, and he turns and chases the pig.

The AIs created by Galen and his wife, April Merrill, are accomplishing some great work for the CIA. While Yves and Genel Violette are working different assignments they are gradually developing more and more human traits and characteristics.

AI – Artificial Intelligence – was explored in Forest City to Ascension and They Became Game Wardens. In this continuation in the lives of Gary and Galen, their wives and other series regulars, AI isn’t the first thing that catches your attention ... the story is. The AI characters have assimilated and have been accepted, it seems.
