The contents of this volume include Pope's famed "Essay on Man in Four Epistles," "Moral Essays," and "Letter to a Noble Lord." A large and heavy octavo in a full leather binding, ruled on the covers in gilt. Five raised bands on the spine, with decorations and titling in gilt. Clean text, lightly toned. Frontis engraving of Pope;vi, 439 pages. Marbled endpapers; speckled page ends; armorial bookplate on the front paste-down. Rubbed at the margins; two chips on the spie, at head and foot.
