Early edition. A superb set. Small 8vo, bound in full contemporary 18th century speckled brown calf. Raised bands with gilt decorations to bands and compartments of spine, boards are ruled with a double line of gilt. All 24 engraved plates are present as called for. Some signs of use to boards with some rubbing to extremities and some portions of wear to boards, vol. VII partially lacks leather to top compartment of spine, vols. V and VI lack very small portions of leather to tails of spine o/w a remarkably clean and sound set. The contents are clean and fresh. Seller Inventory # 66104
