I and II. First editions thus published between 1951 and 1974. This is the first complete edition of Ramsay's entire writings "containing every poem, letter, preface and miscellaneous work known to be Ramsay's own, together with a number of putative items and verses written about the poet by his contemporaries." Includes a bibliography of Ramsay's works, notes to vols. I-V, a glossary of Scots words in vols III and IV, a biographical index, an index of first lines and a general index.
