The Works of Ben Jonson. With a Memoir by Barry Cornwall.

A good hardback copy of this substantial volume, bound in full leather with elaborate gilt borders to both upper and lower covers, attractive gilt decoration to the spine, which has 5 raised bands. All edges gilt. 819 numbered pages. The attractive full-leather binding is a bit rubbed (please see images), but the binding is secure and the main contents are clean. An old circular private book plate (pictured) remains on the front paste-down. There is some foxing at the very beginning of the volume, including to the title page, which I have pictured. Overall, a good hardback copy in an attractive but slightly rubbed full leather binding, with some foxing at the beginning of the volume.
