Uniform Gilt Cloth Edition, 5 Volumes (Including Christmas Stories), 1890. Includes A Christmas Carol and Dickens? complete Christmas Books suite. Two-volume uniform set from the ?Copperfield Edition,? bound in publisher?s dark green cloth with blind-stamped front board design, gilt-titled spines, and tinted top edges. Undated; believed to be from Routledge?s New York office, circa 1890. Frontispiece with tissue guard in both volumes; illustrated throughout with full-page plates. Both volumes: bindings sound; pages clean, bright, and unmarked. Light shelf wear with chipping and fraying to spine crowns and heels; corners bumped; mild edge wear consistent with age.
