The books are bound in burgundy buckram cloth, elaborate Victorian design deeply embossed in black and gilt on the front covers and another small device in blind on the back covers. Corners and spine caps are bumped. There are doodles in pencil on preliminary pages and several in following pages. and the text and illustrations are generally age-toned/tanned, clean and unmarked. Large Octavos-volumes are too heavy to ship outside of the United States. Vol.I- Harry Lorrequer; Tom Burke of"Ours": Vol.II Knights of Gwyne; Davenport Dan. Please see all images.
