Complete set of this comprehensive standard edition of the Works of John Milton. Originally published 1931-1940. This is the 1993 reprint by the Japanese publisher Hon-no-Tomosha. This is an ex-library set with minimal markings. Externally, there is a 2 cm long small black mark on the top and bottom edge where a library stamp has been blacked out. Internally, there are minimal traces of the removal of of a checkout slip on the endpapers. Otherwise, the books are in very good, unmarked and unused condition. Externally, the bindings are very good with some minimal rubbing. It would be difficult to find a set in better condition.
