Four volume set, includes volumes 1 through 4. Overall condition of vols: The book is worn along all edges with chipping along the spine as well. The covers are rubbed and worn. Volume two's front cover is detached from the spine but still present. The binding is secure. The front end leaf pages are foxed along with some other pages throughout the book, but none affecting any legibility. Otherwise all other pages are clean and legible. As is.
