Thick octavo. xxxix, 764pp., engraved frontispiece portrait of Byron. Stereotyped by J. Howe. Bound in contemporary full leather, gilt spine and edges, marbled endpapers. Early bookseller's ticket on the front pastedown: "J. & H.G. Langley" (New York). Small early owner's name in pencil on the front fly leaf, the leather is rubbed with some scuffing to the edges, the front joint is partially split near the top, very good with scattered foxing. An early American edition bound in fine polished leather.
