In the preface it is noted that the Mourning Bride has been corrected and cast into bank verse, the Opera appears here for the first time along with Homers Hymn to Venus, an ex-lbirary copy from the Haverford College, each page in the three volumes are clean and unmarked but with just a bit of toning. Bound in full calf, early unprofessional rebacking, newer spine labels gilt, corners worn, all hinges re-enforced, library labels to front pastedowns. A good set. [ESTIC t178273].
