Rubbing, wear to the extremities, 3/4 Leather, light staining at the edges of the cloth on the boards (with minor wear at the edges of the cloth too resulting in slight fraying on Volume 2). Noticeable wear at the heads and tails of the spines. Some minor scuffs to the page edges (seen in the gilting). Overall, these volumes are well kept with decorative spine work having very minor wear on the raised bands. Previous owner's name in ink on the first leaf of both volumes. Collectible. Very Good. VG.
