A charming four volume set of 'The Works Of The Reverend Edward Young', in uniform leather binding. The poetical works of Edward Young. A relatively scarce edition, complete in four volumes at the time of publication. With a frontispiece to volume I. Prior owner's bookplate to front pastedown, John Carver. Edward Young was an English poet, best remembered for his long poem Night-Thoughts. In uniform full calf bindings with gilt stamping to the spines. Externally, generally smart with small amount of bumping to the extremities. Patches of rubbing to the boards. Loss to the head of volume IV. Prior owner's bookplate to the front pastedown, John Carver. Internally, firmly bound. Offsetting from frontispiece to volume I. Pages are slightly age toned with occasional spots. Very Good.
