Pott8vo, xxxiv, 249, 2 p Publishers list; xxxi, 292 p; xxiii, 205, 2 p Publishers list; 235 p. All four volumes bound in full polished brown calf, marbled endpapers and edges, gilt dentelles, upper and lower covers with double gilt rule and blind stamped filigree, backstrip with gilt rules, decorations, author and title. The frontispiece in Vol 1 is partly detached and this has allowed part of the fore and top edges to become dusty with one 5mm tear, page xxxi of Vol 2 has a paper flaw 20 x 45mm missing from the lower fore corner not affecting the text, there is a trace of rubbing on the joints but all hinges are completely sound. The contents of all four volumes are remarkably clean, VG+ and this set would grace any library. The title pages are as follows: Vol 1 Poems Eighth Edition 1816; Vol 2 Borough 1816; Vol. 3 Tales Sixth Edition 1814 and Vol. 4 Tales Sixth Edition 1814. Both Tales volumes have an additional half title Tales. Collected edition.
