Halfbound leather fine bindings by ?ZAEHNSDORF (for John Wanamaker)?, with marbled boards and endpapers, full gilt decorations to spines, and gilt top page edging. In very good conditions. Some minor handling marks and rubbing to spines, a couple of vols with nicks /bumps to top spine ends. Binders stamps to endpapers. Pages all very clean, bright and tight throughout. No previous owners inscriptions or marks. Else a very good clean and tight set. 12 vols. With a B&W engraved frontis portrait in vol.1. Edmund Burke?s Works in two volumes, with some essays grouped by similar subject and some standing individually.
