From the United University Club Library with bookplate to front pastedown, discreet library stamps to occasional leaf including title page.Comprising the works of Thomas Love Peacock, English novelist and poet (1785-1866). He was a close friend of Percy Bysshe Shelley and they influenced each other's work. Peacock is best know for his satirical novels that often discuss and criticise contemporary philosophical opinions.Edited by Richard Garnett. Illustrated with frontispiece to each work.
