[100] + 276 and [7] + 379 pp. 9 x 5.75. 8vo. Hardcover full cloth. In fair condition, with some scuffing and discoloration to exterior. Light loss to head and heel of spines. Some light cracking and starting to front and rear hinges. Text blocks remain bound well. Staining remnants to tops of front pages and boards of Volume II. Light markings. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce pair of works on the life and career of English physician and medical writer Thomas Sydenham (1624-1689). Produced for his namesake London society.
