Good, bound in full leather with gilt accents on covers and gilt titles at spine. Some cracking, bumping and scuffing to leather. Paper loss to corner of first few pages of Volume 4, not affecting text of frontispiece. Toning to end papers, bookplate of 19th Century novelist Edward Heneage Dering inside front panel of each volume, and name inside front panel of each volume. Bindings are intact, covers all attached. Frontispiece to each volume, fold-out map in Volume 2 present and intact. Rare mid-1700's set with parallel text in English and Latin. Includes the Aeneid, Georgics, Eclogues, and supplemental commentary/essays. 8vo.
