2 volumes in black calf, gilt, some wear and surface marking, browning and foxing internally, a few pages browned at edges. Still attractive bindings and with a pair of fore-edge paintings depicting Branch Hill, Hampstead and the Royal Theatre and Athenaeum. 89 plates after Hogarth. Old embossed stamp tio title, bookplate noting that they were donated to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College along with a 1969 dated inscription noting the same, each from Mrs. Gladys Mckennery Molony.
