16mo. 8 vols all have brown embossed decorative cover. gilt lettering to spine. Chipping to top and btm spine. pencil underlining and comments.foxing to ffep , frontis., htp. and tp, with occasional brown spot elsewhere. Vol 1 has split to side , ffep missing, htp and frontis loose. Vol 3: Top half of spine torn but all present. Vol 4 has tear 2/3 down side of spine.
