Limited edition of only 50 sets, 3 vols, thick foolscap 8vo (7 x 4¾ ), frontispiece for each volume. Very attractive full red niger morocco gilt by Inman with their gilt pallet signature on the front turn-ins of each volume, gilt paneled backs in five compartments, gilt lettered in the second & fourth, gilt wreath enclosing gilt old English S in the center, gilt comic & tragic mask ornaments in the top & bottom. Gilt triple fillet frames on both sides enclosing a gilt single fillet panel joined at each corner by a large gilt foliated branch corner ornament, gilt fillet side edges, inner gilt dentelles, top edges gilt, color patterned decorative endpapers. Fine clean bright set with minor nicks to one head-cap. Sheets & plates clean, unmarked, complete.
