First published in 1864, this is a one volume edition in a handsome full leather school prize binding. 18.5 x 24.5 cm, printed in double columns, lxi, [2], 1002 [2] pages, portrait frontispiece. Some creasing and chipping to title pages and frontispiece, foxing to a few pages first and last but otherwise very sound and clean internally. Binding with crest of Newcastle-upon-Tyne Grammar school on front board, school prize label on pastedown, not much wear but joints neatly reinforced with paper. Seller Inventory # 002164
